Imagine Darth Vader throwing their legs up in the air, the Power Rangers performing their most glamorous show and how Mario finally gets to perform a lap dance for Princess Peach! Reval Reveal is a crossroad where popculture and glamour join forces to create an unforgettable show - superheroes, dragons, space pirates and fantastical creatures all on one stage! Be prepared for a crazy night full of glitter and glam!

Unleash your inner nerd and pull on your Jedi robe! But do not worry, you do not have to be Anakin Skywalker to be the Chosen One!
Become your favorite character from anime, movies, video games or comics and let us join together in creating a once-in-a-lifetime atmosphere! Costumes diligently observed they will be. The three most amazing costumes will be rewarded with a special prize.
NB! Your costume must bring balance to the Force - other attendees also wish to see the stage behind your costume. May the Force be with you!

Reval Reveal is looking for one bold, creative and out of their mind nerdlesque artist, who would bring their popculture inspired performance, to represent District 12!

WHAT IS NERDLESQUE?
Nerdlesque is an unforeseen alloy of burlesque and geek-culture - it is a crossroad where comic heroes, sci-fi mythology and classical burlesque meet to create and absolutely new and shiny form of entertainment! It is a show where lightsabers are replaced by boas, instead of dragons you have clothes flying and comic heroes get a completely new meaning.
As Jo-Jo Stiletto has said: “Nerdlesque allows every popculture fan to release their inner nerd” creating a new creative and expressive art through the interest of fans. If cosplay is becoming the character you love, then nerdlesque adds spice - unforeseen changes in the plot, fantastically funny self-irony and bold luxurious glamour!

Nerdlesque is a contemporary burlesque branch, which joins together a love for pop culture and bold self-expression. This art form brings iconic characters on stage from various media sections such as movies, games and comics. Nerdlesque gives our beloved characters the sensuality, humor and playfulness we know and love from burlesque. JoJo Stiletto describes nerdlesque as “a chance for people to release their inner nerd” - featherboas are replaced with lightsabers and fan-interest transforms into fan-service.
The connection between burlesque and nerdlesque.
Classical burlesque is a form of theatre art/Stage Art, which combines dance, comedy and provocative self-expression. Nerdlesque takes it one step further, by adding themes from pop-culture and new creative plot points. The performers bring entire new worlds from fandoms on stage, bringing both humorous parodies as well as presenting accolades to their favorite characters.
Nerdlesque and cosplay culture
Nerdlesque has a lot in common with cosplay culture, where people transform into their favorite characters and create authentic costumes. When cosplay mostly focuses on recreating the character's visuals and presence, nerdlesque adds freedom on stage, introducing both sensuality as well as personal interpretation of the character.
